RECITAL PROGRAM:

Xtreme Dance Center’s recital program is for kids ages 2 and up.  This program is for those who want to train and perform in our recital in June.  Recital Classes are highlighted in pink on our Fall/Spring class schedule.

Styles Available:

Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Breakdancing, Modern, Contemporary and Lyrical styles.   Xtreme offers combination classes: Ballet/Tap, Fun With Dance (Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and Tap). 

Registration:

Registration starts at Customer Appreciation Day in June and cutoff is in December before the holiday break.   Classes Start in August and end with the Summer Recital in June.   You are able to drop into any of these classes to try them and pay a drop in fee between August and December but come January the open enrollment stops.  You must be registered in a recital class by December before the holiday break to participate in the recital.  You can enroll in a class at the start of the term or if you start mid-term we will pro-rate the tuition fee for you.  Reference the Tuition Page to see our term dates.

Age Breakdown:

Ages as of September 1st. 

Pre-School - Ages 2 to 4

Ages 2 - Twinkle Tot Classes
Ages 3 - Shining Star Classes
Ages 4- Shooting Star Classes

Elementary - Ages 5 to 11

Ages 5 to 6; Kindergarten - 1st
Ages 7 to 8; 2nd to 3rd Grade
Ages 9 to 11; Juniors - 4th to 5th Grade

Junior High - Ages 11 to 14

Ages 12 to 14; Teens - 6th to 8th Grade

High School - Ages 15-18

Ages 15 to 18; Seniors

Adults - Ages 19+

Levels:

Beginners = Level I

Beginners / Intermediate = Level I/II

Intermediate = Level II

Intermediate / Advanced = Level II/III

Advanced - Level III (All Advanced level classes are a part of the competitive program)
